Hamilton E. Golden, Jr., a resident of the Gino J. Merli Veteran Center, Scranton, died June 29, 2012 in the center after an illness. His wife was the former Rose Ann Morrone.
Hamilton was born March 15, 1923 in Doerun, Georgia. He was the son of the late Hamilton E., Sr and Hettie V. Adkins Golden. He was of the Protestant faith. Prior to retirement he had been employed by the Bethlehem Steel Company in Maryland as a roll turner. He served his country honorable in the United Sates Military.
Surviving are his children Linda Walton, Pamela Golden, Eugene Golden, Laura Willoughby and Vanessa Stewart.
Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory.
Interment of Hamilton’s ashes will take place in Maryland.
