Julia E. Nagle, Scranton, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday. She and her husband, Larry Huddy, were together 26 years.
Born in 1954 in Williamsport, PA, she was a graduate of Williamsport High School and later Empire Beauty School, where she became a licensed cosmetologist. She had been employed at Casual Sportswear, the Viewmont Mall, the Castle Smoke Shop and worked alongside Larry in his plumbing & heating business.
Julia was a kind and loving person, who was always willing to help others. Her warm smile and happy heart brought cheer to so many. She will be remembered forever by those who were blessed to have known her.
Also surviving are her son, Robert Chapman, and his wife, Jeannie, of Mayfield; beloved grandchildren, Lillia and Hannah Chapman; step children Kimberly and Frank Huddy; and numerous friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10am at the Immaculate Conception Church, 801 Taylor Ave., Scranton, by Rev. Joseph Sica.
Friends may call Friday morning from 9am until time of Mass at the church.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, please make donations in Julia’s name to Keystone Rescue Mission, 8 West Olive St., Scranton, PA, 18508.
Interment, private at the convenience of the family.
