Donny Miller, Scranton, passed away Saturday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest after an illness. His wife of 50 years is the former Lisa Marie Luongo.
Donny was born1951 in Danville and was the son of the late John H., Sr. and Clara M. Dawson Miller and was a graduate of the former Scranton Technical High School. Donny had worked for many years at A&A Auto Parts. After his retirement he worked as an auto transport driver for various automotive dealerships in the area.
Donny had a great love of dogs. They made him very happy, especially Baylie and Misty.
Also surviving are his son Steven Miller and fiancé Jean of Scranton; beloved grandsons Dustyn, Collin and Mikey; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers Tim Miller and John H. Miller, Jr.
Funeral services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In honor of Donny’s memory, memorial contributions can be made to the donor’s favorite animal rescue or shelter.
